Celtic boss targets Hibernian striker
Stokes on Lennon’s wishlist

CELTIC boss Neil Lennon wants to sign a striker before the transfer window closes tomorrow.
And Hibs striker Anthony Stokes is top of Lennon’s wish list as he looks to bolster his attack.
The Parkhead club have also been linked with Hapoel Tel Aviv striker Itay Shechter.
With Marc-Antoine Fortune leaving the club for West Brom on Friday, Morten Rasmussen on loan at German club Mainz and Gary Hooper out for another month with a calf injury, Lennon needs a goal-scorer.
Lennon said: “Stokes is an option for us, we have a couple of other options.
“With Hooper being injured, we just need a box player or goalscorer.
“Stokes certainly fits into that category.
“Whether we can get over the line, I don‘t know.”
Recent signing Daryl Murphy netted the winner in a 1-0 win at Motherwell on his first start for the club.
Former Sunderland forward Murphy tucked home a 73rd-minute penalty at Fir Park after Shaun Maloney had gone down under a challenge from Steven Saunders, which earned the Motherwell right-back a red card.
On-loan Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster and Honduras left-back Emilio Izaguirre were both handed debuts.
Lennon said: “Izaguirre‘s debut was tremendous.
“He was fantastic, I don‘t think he put a foot wrong all day. He was so composed and defended really well.
“He added an extra dimension to the back four.”
