Hendrie deal ‘no longer an option’ for Aberdeen FC

ABERDEEN FC were today set to confirm they are no longer able to sign former England and Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie.

The 33-year-old said he would give Aberdeen FC until today to make him a firm contract offer.

Trusted sources at Pittodrie today said that won’t happen.

The signing of Scotland international Paul Hartley has exhausted the budget available to manager Mark McGhee to make new signings.
