BIRTHDAY boys Keith are out to make sure their season starts with a bang after calling on the services of Aberdeen FC goalscoring great Joe Harper.
The Aberdeen FC legend and Evening Express columnist was on hand to show his support to the Kynoch Park men by putting strikers Cammy Keith and Stuart Walker through their paces on the eve of their centenary season kicking off.
Joe, Aberdeen FC’s record goalscorer, turned out for Keith in the early 1980s when Jimmy Wilson was in charge of the Highland League side.
And he was only too happy to reminisce over old times when he joined in their final pre-season training session ahead of today’s curtain raiser against Turriff United.
Joe said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my short spell playing for Keith and I’m sure everyone associated with the club will savour their centenary season.
“It was great to spend a bit of time with Cammy and Stuart and I’d like nothing more than to see them both find the net – if they do I’ll claim all the credit!”
