Lee Hendrie waiting for call from Aberdeen FC
Midfielder Lee ‘is in the dark’
Published:
LEE Hendrie today admitted he’s waiting by his phone desperate to come to Aberdeen FC.
The midfielder has been hanging on for more than a week hoping Aberdeen FC boss Mark McGhee will call to seal a deal.
Free agent Hendrie looked certain to become an Aberdeen player after impressing in the 1-0 pre-season loss at Dunfermline, but the transfer stalled as the Dons pursued Paul Hartley.
Hendrie, 33, now wants a final answer from the club.

I think the issue is wages and budgets here. apparently, Lee Hendrie wants a little bit more, but AFC are literally requiring to ship out a couple of more players perhaps even on loan. It's not greed nor stinginess on either partys behalf I understand, just a fine line of budgets and acceptable terms. He'd be a good signing and would definately give us something in midfield.

If he's desperate, he'll accept less cash. Hold your nerve AFC.

John, an English League 1 club have offered more money, Hwendrie wants to come to AFC and is waiting to see if we can accomodate the small rise he requires. It's not greed on either party, it's question of budgets.

If it comes to it, then why don't we let Chris Maguire go out on loan again - won't do him any harm, and I can't see him getting into the first team much this year. Nobody's going to come in for Mackie so unless we pay off his contract (which I doubt we could afford to), then that option I guess isn't open? Doesn't Neale Cooper want any of our players for Peterheid? We could always sell Sone Aluko...

Guys get Hendrie on board. What a midfield we would have. Can have a right go at most teams with that midfield.
