Paul Hartley is here to win silver with Aberdeen FC
New skipper is on a mission

PAUL Hartley admits he is a man on a mission after finally being unveiled as Aberdeen’s key signing of the summer and new club skipper.
Despite now being in what is termed as the veteran stage for a footballer, the 33-year-old made it clear he hasn’t come to Pittodrie to simply see out the end of a so-far distinguished career.
“I never want to wind down,” said Hartley.
“I’m still hungry, still want to win things and still want to play for my country.”
Hartley talking of finally leading the Dons out of their dark years and on to some silverware will be music to the ears of the fans who he admitted used to make his life “hell” when he came to Pittodrie in the colours of Hearts and Celtic.
“Aberdeen have always been a massive club and the challenge is to get them back up there,” he said.
