DENNIS Wyness admits Paul Hartley is now a different man to the attacking midfielder who thrilled the crowds at Tynecastle.

But the former Aberdeen FC player insists the club have still got their hands on a player in his prime.

Dennis spent two seasons alongside the dynamic Hartley at Hearts, after both signed for the Edinburgh club in 2003.

Hartley’s next move was to Celtic, where he developed into more of a holding midfielder, a mentality he carried on at Bristol City last season.
