MARK McGhee today claimed Middlesbrough’s state of the art training complex should act as the blue-print for the one Aberdeen FC hope to eventually build close to the new stadium at Cove.

Aberdeen FC trained at Boro’s Rockliffe Park complex, based in the leafy village of Hurworth, close to Darlington, en-route to Loughborough University, where they will be based until Thursday.

The Rockliffe site covers 160 acres and includes 10 full-size grass pitches and both outside and indoor artificial playing surfaces.
