Tom Cruise set to appear on Top Gear

TOM Cruise’s latest demanding role will be on Top Gear – as the “star in a reasonably-priced car”.

The Days Of Thunder actor and fellow Hollywood A-lister Cameron Diaz, pictured with Tom, will each take a spin in Top Gear’s Kia Cee’d, in a bid to complete the fastest lap they can.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz’s efforts will be shown on Sunday’s Top Gear, with both hoping to trounce Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, who has set the bar with his lap.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are in the UK to promote their new movie Knight And Day, which was to premiere in London today.
