New Zealand midfielder is latest to join Locos

INVERURIE Locos have snapped up New Zealand national Morgan Hall ahead of a team-building trip to St Andrews.

The midfielder has lived in Inverurie for several years and trained last season with the Red-and-Blacks’ youth set-up.

But he has now been handed a senior deal with the Garioch club and co-manager Kenny Coull revealed he is delighted to have signed a player of Hall’s potential.

He said: “We have signed Morgan, he’s a young guy but we think he could do well.

“He has been training with us throughout the whole of pre-season so far.

“He has shown up very well in training and we are delighted to have tied him down to the club.

“We still might put him out on loan to get some experience but we haven’t decided yet.”
