CELTIC have confirmed they are keen on signing England and former Portsmouth keeper David James.
Parkhead boss Neil Lennon has already held talks with the 39-year-old.
Lennon admitted he plans to resume those when Celtic return from their pre-season tour of the USA. James is a free agent after leaving Pompey following their relegation from the Premier League.
Celtic are looking for another keeper after selling Artur Boruc in the summer.
Lennon said: “There’s an opportunity there to sign David, so we would be daft not to look at it.”
