COOKING – I hate it and admit a round of cheese on toast is my limit.
I would rather tackle a rampaging bear with a sore head than a four-ring electric cooker.
So, when my girlfriend dropped the bombshell that it was my turn to cook, I turned to the Golden China.
My girlfriend plumped for the chicken curry which came packed with tender, succulent meat. The meat was deliciously moist and smothered in a spicy sauce that soaked up the fluffy boiled rice.
The dish was given the thumbs up and quickly polished off.
Despite the wide range of options available, I went for an old, reliable favourite – vegetable curry.
The dish came packed with vegetables, including broccoli, celery, peppers and onions.
My only gripe is that the sauce lacked any real punch and was a little bland.
The bill came to a reasonable £11.90 and we will certainly be going back there.
