NEW Aberdeen signing Joe Magennis today vowed to bring laughter to Pittodrie with his practical joke – but just don’t mention his most embarrassing moment.

It came during a game against Derby last season, when the former Cardiff striker inexplicably threw the ball off the pitch in the middle of a game.

Josh said: “The referee wanted me to put it out, and I didn’t hear him.

“He dropped the ball and I picked it up and put it out of the pitch, like a throw-in.

“I nearly got a yellow card for that, although because everyone was laughing he decided not to.”
