Buckie’s Carrol is Manager of the Year

TITLE-WINNING boss Gregg Carrol dedicated his Highland League Manager of the Year award to everyone at Buckie Thistle.

The Jags boss scooped the award for the first time in his distinguished career and insisted his championship-winning side, backroom staff and directors must share the credit.

He said: “People tend to forget when they hand out these awards that a manager can’t do his job without the players, backroom staff and the whole club doing theirs.

“This award is testament to everyone at the club and nobody should forget that.”
