A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after he was knocked off his bike at an Aberdeen bottleneck during rush hour today.

Traffic was backed up at Aberdeen’s Haudagain roundabout after a man was knocked off his bike at about 7.30am.

Part of Aberdeen’s North Anderson Drive was closed to traffic driving into Aberdeen after the cyclist was knocked off his bike.

Ambulance crews took the cyclist to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with leg injuries, although he was not believed to be seriously hurt after the accident on the Haudagain roundabout.
