Johnston commits to Cove Rangers

COVE Rangers co-manager Kevin Tindal is delighted the club persuaded Martin Johnston to abandon thoughts of retirement and sign a new two-year deal.

Tindal revealed the attacking midfielder had spoken of giving up the game at the end of last season.

But Johnston, who was subject of interest from Highland League rivals Formartine United, has instead committed his future to Cove until 2012.
