WHAT better way to get ready for a wedding dance than an Indian takeaway?
Well, there are a few, actually, but when time is against you – according to The Boss, anyway – a takeaway is the best, and quickest, way to get fed before a night of dancing.
Unable to decide whether to go for starters or not, we opted to just go for one of the set meals, a good deal at £22.95.
Our onion bhajis proved lovely – the huge pieces were fine and crispy, but not too greasy.
Kathryn’s west Bengal chicken was slightly too watery for her liking, but was perked up by the flavoursome chickpeas and spinach.
I went for something milder with the chicken amli. Although I wasn’t keen on the big chunks of mango, the dish was exactly what I was looking for, with the creaminess a highlight.
Along with two poppadums, a nan bread and rice, we were set to dance the night away.
