Adele Sande working with singer Pixie Lott

Alford-born songwriter in collaboration with chart-topper

ALFORD-BORN musician Adele Sande is hoping to help chart-topping Pixie Lott to more success.

And the singer/songwriter, who goes by the stage name Emeli Sande, is also currently working with singer Alesha Dixon.

Adele, 23, said: “I have been so busy recently just writing lots and lots of songs.

“It has been really good. I am working with Alesha Dixon today and tomorrow in the studio.

“We are just going to go into the studio and see what we can come up with – so I’m looking forward to that.”

Adele, who has penned songs for X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and girlband The Saturdays, said the song she wrote for Pixie Lott could appear on the singer’s next album.

She said: “We still need to discuss the title of the song but she seemed to really like it.”

Talented former Alford Academy pupil Adele Sande is forging a musical career while pursuing a medical degreel And she said she also has plans to work with some other singers this year, as well as focus on her solo career.

She said: “I have also been writing a couple of songs for Tinchy Stryder.”

Adele’s latest collaboration with DJ and British rapper Wiley on the song Never Be Your Woman reached number eight in the charts.

She said: “Everything is going really well. I have been really busy.

“I still find it crazy seeing myself on TV.”

Adele, who has signed a contract with Virgin Records, added: “I am planning to go over to America in May to work with some music producers.”
