STARS from sport, music and comedy today helped Sport Relief raise more than £29 million.

Cheryl Cole, David Beckham, Robbie Williams and JLS all performed during last night’s TV marathon.

X Factor judge Cheryl – making her first TV appearance since her split with husband Ashley – had to watch comic Rufus Hound do a spoof of her Fight For This Love dance routine.

Cheryl joked “it’s like looking in a mirror”.

Viewers also saw injured footballer Beckham share a bath and a bed with Gavin and Stacey star James Corden.

The boys indulged in a spot of preening after Corden’s character Smithy coached a series of top stars including Andy Murray, Tom Daley, Jenson Button and the Manchester United squad featuring Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.

Among the fund-raising acts for Sport Relief, were athletes, Mark Foster, Iwan Thomas and Jonathan Edwards who were turned into a choir by TVs choirmaster Gareth Malone.
