Two cars in road crash

EMERGENCY services were called to a road crash near Newmachar today.
Two cars crashed on the A947 Newmachar to Dyce road at 7am, with one of the cars – a Volkswagen Jetta – hitting a road sign.
A Grampian Police spokesman said: “The Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene but there were no injuries. We received the call at 7.01am.”
Today’s crash happened just yards from the site a previous accident which saw a biker killed.
Neville Thomson, 35, was less than a mile from his home when his Suzuki motorbike was in a crash with a Volkswagen Golf.
The crash happened at the Kinmundy crossroads, just south of Newmachar, on Saturday.
