Aberdeen man denies sex attacks on children

AN ABERDEEN man has denied using lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour towards a young child.

Claudio Urquieta was alleged to have followed the youngster into the bathroom at an address in Aberdeen and refused to leave.

The 37-year-old was further alleged to have hugged the youngster before lowering his trousers.

Urquieta was further alleged to have sexually assaulted another young child on the same day at the same address.

The charge alleged he placed his arms around the youngster, kissed and sexually assaulted the child.

Both offences were alleged to have taken place on January 5, 2008.

Urquieta, whose address was given in court papers as 61C Jute Street, Aberdeen, denied the charges.

He will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court again later this year.
