A PROFESSIONAL footballer and his brother who allegedly attacked a man in an Aberdeen street have had their trial delayed.

Ross County midfielder Iain Vigurs, 21, and his brother Patrick, 23, who is also a footballer, are alleged to have carried out the attack on Abidur Chowdhury on Aberdeen’s Shiprow on June 14, last year

The pair, both listed in Aberdeen Sheriff Court papers as living at 223 Bankhead Road, Bucksburn, Aberdeen, denied the offence, which was alleged to have been racially aggravated.

The two Aberdeen brothers, who also denied breaking the peace, are due to face trial at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later this year.
