AN ABERDEEN woman has admitted stealing a bank card and running up a bill of nearly £1,500.
Julie Lamb, 35, admitted a string of fraud charges when she appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
She admitted forming a fraudulent scheme to buy products using stolen bank cards and PIN numbers.
Lamb stole a debit card on November 30, 2009.
Days later, on December 2, she presented a bank card in the name of Isobel Spalding at an ASDA store and bought goods worth £201.22.
Over a two-day period she visited ASDA stores in Aberdeen five times, running up a bill of £868.66 on Mrs Spalding’s account.
During the two-day spending spree Lamb also visited Aberdeen’s AB10 and JD Sports, bringing the total bill up to £1,415.57.
Lamb also admitted stealing £1,972.22 from the Queen’s Road Dental Practice, Aberdeen, between December, 2008, and January 5, 2009.
She also admitted a charge of failing to appear at a previous calling of the case.
Sheriff Annella Cowan deferred sentence on Lamb, whose address was given in court papers as 4 Marchburn Crescent, Aberdeen, until next month.
