HUNDREDS of screaming girls pushed to get a glimpse of X Factor stars Jedward as they turned up at an Aberdeen nightclub.
The Irish twins appeared at Franklyn’s nightclub for a special performance after their sell-out X Factor tour in Aberdeen.
John and Edward, who became better known as Jedward, were joined by the other stars of the X Factor at a private VIP party at the club.
And Jedward, who were dressed to impress, said they were thrilled to be performing to their Aberdeen fans.
John said: “It was a lot of fun performing in Aberdeen.
“The crowd was crazy.
“We wore tartan jackets especially, to have a little bit of Scottish style and we had them studded with diamonds.”
Edward added: “We really like the Scottish accent.
“Everyone has been really nice and friendly.
“It has been great being up here.”
John and Edward shot to fame when they appeared on the sixth series of the X Factor last year.
Despite losing out to winner Joe McElderry and runners-up Olly Murs and Stacey Soloman in the X Factor, the pair are fast proving to be the real stars of the programme.
Jedward have wowed fans up and down the country and have even been invited to appear on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross – the only contestants from series six to do so.
Identical twins Jedward released their first single, Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby), featuring Vanilla Ice, in January, which reached number one in the UK and Irish charts.
And despite the icy weather Jedward put on a show that left their adoring Aberdeen fans thinking that was nice nice baby!
