Harry Hill signs new two-year TV deal

HARRY Hill has signed a two-year deal with ITV to make TV Burp and You’ve Been Framed, which will also see him working on new projects for the broadcaster.

The agreement spanning 2010 and 2011 means Hill will host two new series of both of ITV1’s popular Saturday evening shows.

Two eight-episode runs of the Bafta award-winning Harry Hill’s TV Burp will air, as well as special compilations.

Harry Hill’s agreement also includes the option of extending the two further series of TV Burp, which regularly pulls in six million viewers, in 2011 and 2012.

Harry Hill said: “If you’re a light entertainer there’s really only one place to be on a Satur-day night, and that’s ITV.”
