Kerr is the man who makes Aberdeen FC tick

DEREK McInnes believes Aberdeen FC are right to go all out to keep the man he sees as the heartbeat of Pittodrie.

Aberdeen FC have stepped up their efforts to retain the services of skipper Mark Kerr.

The midfielder is out of contract at the end of this season and could leave for nothing.

St Johnstone manager McInnes played alongside Kerr at Dundee United and is not surprised his old team-mate has gone on to become a captain.
