Ex-Don Jackie’s leg break misery

FORMER Aberdeen FC defender Jackie McNamara is out for the rest of the season after breaking a leg while playing at loan club Partick Thistle.

The Falkirk player suffered the injury during a 1-0 defeat First Division defeat against Ayr United.

The 36-year-old was on a month-long spell at Firhill, which was due to expire on March 21.

Partick manager Ian McCall said: “He will see a specialist to try to determine just how serious a leg break it is.”
