Ex-Aberdeen FC star backs old team to do well

FORMER Aberdeen FC player Barry Nicholson knows all about a disastrous season.

The midfielder, now at Preston, has spent the last six months sidelined after suffering a double leg break.

Nicholson has bounced back from his horror season, and has finally returned to light training.

And he today backed his former Aberdeen FC team-mates to rally from their own disaster – a run of nine games without a win.

Barry said: “You do not become a bad team over-night, so Aberdeen will definitely turn around their recent form.
