A MUM today branded a Stagecoach bus driver’s actions “disgusting” claiming he told her injured and bleeding daughter to get off his vehicle in Kemnay.

Little Mya Fleming said she was flung from her seat into the luggage compartment when the driver of the Stagecoach bus allegedly braked harshly.

And eight-year-old Mya was left with blood pouring from her head after the alleged accident in Kemnay.

Mya’s 16-year-old brother Aaron asked the Stagecoach driver for a first aid kit – but he was ignored, according to mum Gail.

The Stagecoach driver then told Aaron and Mya, and their six-year-old brother Devon, it might be best if they got off the bus, the mum claimed.

Today Gail said: “Surely if there is a first aid kit on board the driver should give passengers access to it.

“I find it disgusting that he saw a 16-year-old with two young children with one covered in blood and did nothing to help.”

Aaron had picked up Mya from Alehousewells School in Kemnay when the alleged accident happened.

They boarded the Stagecoach Bluebird bus to Inverurie.

It is claimed that moments into the journey, the Stagecoach driver was forced to brake suddenly, which sent Mya flying forward from her seat into the luggage compartment, smashing her head open.

The three children got off at Kemnay, when passing Grampian Police officers stopped to attend the girl’s injuries and Mya was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Mya is currently recovering at home in Inverurie.

A spokesman for Stagecoach Bluebird said the company was investigating the incident.
