Exit trials have produced some gems

Aberdeen scouts at all three English trials

Published: 10/03/2010

ABERDEEN FC were the only Scottish team to have scouts at all three English exit trials this season.

But Rangers and Motherwell have snapped up players from the scheme in recent years.

Motherwell secured Shaun Hutchinson as a 16-year-old in 2008.

He has broken into the first team this season and will hope to progress under the guidance of boss Craig Brown.

Rangers took on Tom Miller in 2008, after he had been let go by Norwich.
