Cyclist found lying in roadway after mystery crash

A CYCLIST was found lying on a rural Aberdeenshire road after an accident.

The man was found alone on an unclassified road about a mile from Turriff at 9.30pm yesterday.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “It appears he had fallen off a push bike.”

A Grampian Police spokesman confirmed officers were investigating the crash scene on the Turriff to Pitglassie road.
