FOOTBALL legend Denis Law today told of his dream to play for Aberdeen FC.

The Granite City’s favourite footballing son admitted he is jealous of the opportunity modern Aberdonian youngsters get to play for the club he has always supported.

Scotland’s joint highest-ever scorer has made no secret of the fact he deeply regrets that he never played for Aberdeen FC.

He said: “It would be an honour for anyone to wear the Aberdeen FC shirt – I wish I could wear it now.”
