ABERDEEN FC striker Chris Maguire continued his goal-scoring form since being sent out on loan from Pittodrie.
At Kilmarnock until the end of the season, Maguire netted a penalty and set up the second in Scotland U21s’ 2-2 draw against Azerbaijan.
Maguire has hit the goal trail since being sent out on loan at the end of January, with three for Kilmarnock and one for the young Scots.
While Maguire is scoring for club and country, Aberdeen have struggled to find the net and are now eight games without a win.
U21s boss Billy Stark denied their Euro qualification hopes were dented by complacency against 10-man Azerbaijan at the Falkirk Stadium.
Stark said: “There was no complacency in any shape or form. We spent a lot of time speaking to the players about that and reinforcing the things that work for us.
“The players were in good shape, they were sharp and so it wasn’t as straightforward as it might have appeared by winning 4-0 over there.”
