X Factor hopefuls get chance to audition at home

WANNABE X Factor superstars can belt out auditions from their own homes for the first time in the show’s history.

This year’s X Factor hopefuls can upload a video showcasing their singing skills by following instructions on the internet.

Judge Simon Cowell said: “This is an obvious step forward for us.

“We will ensure every clip is watched carefully and presents another opportunity for people to enter The X Factor.”
