Tiger Woods to say sorry for sex scandal
Golfer to break his silence

TIGER Woods will speak for the first time tomorrow since becoming embroiled in a sex scandal.
Eighty-four days after he crashed his car, went to hospital and then disappeared from view in a bid to save his marriage, Tiger is to finally make an appearance.
His clean-cut image took a battering after revelations of affairs with more than 20 women, which started with nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel.
However, the world number one golfer is not expected to answer any questions on this occasion.
Instead he will make a statement at the headquarters of the US PGA Tour in Florida.
Tiger, who was reported to have spent weeks in a sex addiction clinic in Mississippi after Christmas, will talk in front of just a few reporters and one television camera.
Mark Steinberg, Tiger’s manager, said: “Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11am (4pm GMT) Friday at the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach.
“Tiger plans to discuss his past and future and he intends to apologise for his behaviour.”
Worldwide interest has been focused on what Tiger called his “transgressions” on his website in December, before he then admitted his infidelity and announced an indefinite break from the golf.
The spotlight turned on to both the double life he had been leading and the effect it would have on the sport and his standing in it. And some of his sponsors wasted little time severing their ties with the sportsman.
