Car flips over on black ice
Spate of crashes in Aberdeen area

FREEZING temperatures caused traffic chaos on busy roads in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire today.
A car landed on its roof after a crash on the A90 Aberdeen to Stonehaven road, at Den of Logie road near Cowie.
The vehicle left the dual carriageway and flipped at around 7.21am.
Grampian Police said the male driver was not hurt in the accident and did not have to be taken to hospital.
A woman suffered minor injuries after a car and a lorry crashed in a separate incident near Aberdeen.
The accident happened at 9.50am on the A96 Bucksburn to Blackburn road, near Tyrebagger.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman refused hospital treatment.
Around the same time two cars were involved in another smash on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road at the Findhorn Bridge near Forres.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man, who suffered chest injuries, and woman with back injuries were taken to Leanchoil Hospital in Forres.
And a van overturned on the B993 Inverurie to Kemnay road at 11.45am today. No one was injured.
A Scottish Ambulance Services spokeswoman said: “We did not attend the scene of the crash. We were stood down by the police.”
