PETERHEAD boss Neale Cooper is hopeful Bobby Mann will be fit for Saturday’s Division Two game against Stenhousemuir.
The influential defender missed last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Brechin with a knee problem.
In his absence on-loan Jonathan Crawford and former Aberdeen FC youngster Ryan Strachan were paired at centre-half.
That duo struggled to cope with Brechin forwards Charlie King and Rory McAllister, who both got on the scoresheet.
Cooper is now waiting to hear if Mann can return to action but is optimistic that will be the case.
