Celtic boss stunned at comeback

Mowbray can’t believe they didn’t earn all three points

Published: 15/02/2010

CELTIC boss Tony Mowbray cannot believe his side scored four goals away from home and still did not earn all three points.

Mowbray’s slim title aspirations suffered another setback when Aberdeen FC battled back from 4-2 down to salvage a 4-4 draw at Pittodrie.

The Parkhead boss admitted he thought the game was beyond Aberdeen until Edson Braafheid handled in the penalty area.

That allowed Steven MacLean to score a spot-kick and start a comeback that was completed when the Dons striker scored again.

Mowbray said: “At 4-2, I felt the game was just about done. Then we give them, inexplicably, a lifeline with a penalty from nowhere.”

Tony. Think how we ( Aberdeen Fans ) feel. we Scored 4 goals at home and didn't get all 3 points. you should feel lucky that Aluko started and not Fyvie because Aluko was a passenger for the Entire time he was on the pitch. So look at it as 1pnt gained rather than 2pnts lost please.
