Aberdeen FC’s Foster to keep Hibs in check

Player ready for Easter Road’s new Famous Five

Published:

RICHARD Foster insists Aberdeen FC will have no fear of Hibs’ new famous five at Easter Road tomorrow.

On form Hibs have pulled 15 points clear of Aberdeen FC in third place, and Foster realises defeat in Edinburgh is not an option.

He insists Hibs’ free-scoring attack of Anthony Stokes, Derek Riordan, Colin Nish, Merouane Zemmama and Abdessalam Benjelloun can be held at bay.

Foster said: “We have more than enough in defence to cope with what Hibs’ attack has to throw at us. Although we have lost our last two league games we are going into this game with confidence. We aim to go down to Easter Road and cause Hibs problems.

“Maybe this season we have fallen short with our goal-scoring, but we aim to put that right.”

well let's hope bombscare improves considerably...Failing that, Mulgrew and Diamond would be a lot more solid a pairing, with Fozzy and Paterson at full backs

Surely Diamond will replace Ifil. I dont know what has happened to him of late, but he has been pretty bad!!
