RICHIE Ramsay was battling a neck injury before starting today’s second round of the Dubai Desert Classic as the leading Scot.

The former US Amateur champion carded a one-under-par 71 for a share of 23rd place.

However, after a 30-minute physio session before teeing-off at the Emirates Golf Club, Ramsay recorded four birdies.
