Everybody Hurts played on UK radio

A LIVE Aid-style single in aid of Haiti earthquake victims was launched today.

The cover version of the REM song Everybody Hurts, featuring Cheryl Cole, Robbie Williams, Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle was aired for the first time this morning and is expected to be released for download on Sunday.

It also includes contributions from boyband JLS, veteran rocker Rod Stewart as well as singers Mariah Carey and Kylie Minogue.

The track was recorded in London and Los Angeles.

Up to 200,000 people died in the magnitude 7.0 earthquake on January 12, with hundreds of thousands more left injured and homeless.
