Man knocked off bike on Aberdeen road
Injured cyclist taken to Aberdeen hospital
A CYCLIST was taken to hospital today after he was knocked off his bike in Aberdeen.
The accident happened at 7.20am during rush hour on Aberdeen’s Fountainhall Road.
Police were called to the scene after the man was hit by a passing car.
A Grampian Police spokesman said: “It appeared the cyclist and a car collided on Fountainhall Road. The accident was causing some traffic problems.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A 42-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with nose, head and chest injuries. His injuries did not appear to be serious.”
