Lily Allen up for three Brit Awards

LILY Allen expressed delight as she received three nominations for this year’s Brit Awards.

Lily Allen, who has never managed to take home one of the accolades, is up against Lady GaGa, Pixie Lott and Florence And The Machine to be a big winner.

Lily said: “It’s a huge honour for me to have my music recognised in this way by the Brits.”

The event, to be screened live by ITV1 when it takes place next month, will be hosted by comic Peter Kay.

Lily, Pixie and Florence Welch go head to head in the best British female category, with Lily and Florence up for best British album.
