Redknapp accused of £40,000 tax evasion

TOTTENHAM have been rocked by the news that manager Harry Redknapp has been charged with two counts of tax evasion.

The 62-year-old was charged with cheating the public revenue of about £40,000.

But Redknapp insists he has done nothing wrong and claims he will not let the allegations derail Spur’s season.

He said: “I have no intention of letting it distract me.

“I know I have done nothing wrong.”
