A MAN today suffered chest injuries in a crash on a busy Aberdeen road.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident on the A947 Aberdeen to Banff road, south of Newmachar, at 6.40am today.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene at the junction with the B979 road to Kintore.
The driver of a Renault Megane which was involved in the crash was trapped in his vehicle.
He suffered chest injuries but an ambulance spokesman said they “did not appear serious.”
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, along with another person involved in the accident.
The smash caused major traffic delays.
Meanwhile, police were still appealing for the driver of a green Ford Mondeo to come forward after a serious crash between Westhill and Garlogie on Friday.
Police want to speak to the driver after another car, a red Honda Integra, flipped over and landed in a ditch.
A 20-year-old passenger in the car was in a critical but stable condition after the crash on the B9125 Garlogie to Raemoir road.
