BOBBY Mann insists confidence can carry Peterhead into the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
The Blue Toon face First Division Raith in a replay tomorrow after a battling performance earned a goalless draw in Kirkcaldy.
Mann knows all about upsetting the odds in the Scottish Cup, having been part of the Inverness team that sensationally dumped Celtic out of the competition in 2000.
Based on that experience, the Peterhead defender claims self-belief is the key to victory in the replay at Balmoor.
Mann also believes this afternoon’s fourth round draw will have no influence on the game.
He said: “We have a chance, but we need to have confidence and belief.
“It doesn’t matter who we get in the draw, we can’t do anything about it.”
