Aberdeen brush-attack pair branded ‘twisted and evil’

TWO men who left an Aberdeen cleaner fighting for life were today branded “twisted and evil”.
Jaroslaw Janeczek suffered severe internal injuries after he was attacked by Keith Porter and George Stewart.
And the 39-year-old cleaner was still recovering in hospital In Aberdeen today, four months after the assault.
North-east Labour MSP Richard Baker, who is the Shadow Justice Minister, said: “To do such appalling things to someone is truly sickening and justifies lengthy prison sentences for those responsible.
“It was a diabolical crime and must have caused unbelievable suffering to the victim.
“Those responsible can only be described as twisted and evil.”
Mr Janeczek had returned from work and was in his car outside his Tillydrone homein Aberdeen when he was pounced on.
Mr Janeczek was repeatedly kicked and punched and had the car door slammed on his head. Porter then grabbed items such as a mop and brushes from the boot of the cleaner's vehicle.
Mr Janeczek was initially “whipped and stabbed” with the implements before one was embedded in his body.
The thugs then fled leaving Mr Janeczek needing massive surgery.
A brush penetrated the stomach and liver but narrowly missed his heart.
Porter, 21, admitted attempting to murder Mr Janeczek on July 11 when he appeared at the High Court in Glasgow.
Stewart, 24, who also faced the same allegation, pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of assault to severe injury.
Judge Lord Turnbull remanded the pair in custody and deferred sentencing until next month.
