WITH the kitchen cupboards bare, and my hunger rising, I needed food – fast.
And the New Jade, who deliver, fitted the bill perfectly.
One quick call and within 20 minutes I had a vegetable curry in front of me.
At just £3.80 the large helping was certainly value for money but I still polished off the hearty helping.
Full of spice and zing the curried vegetables were crisp and coated in a dark, tasty sauce.
It was packed full of crunchy onions – my favourite – and the accompanying boiled rice was light and fluffy.
My girlfriend opted for the chicken curry (£4.30) and was also confronted with a mountain of food.
But like me Susan was hungry and gave the dish the thumbs up.
Packed full with chunky pieces of chicken, the curry was hot but not too spicy for her tastes.
The meal came to a very reasonable £11.10, plus an extra £1 delivery fee.
