E.A.R.L of Sandwich: The Green, Aberdeen

AFTER a very late night on Friday, my first thought on Saturday was what to have for lunch.
On arriving in E.A.R.L, which stands for eat a real lunch, my tummy was grumbling. And the huge selection, which covers nearly all the wall space, was a little daunting.
I opted for a chicken satay panini (£3.50) which was stuffed full of tender breast pieces, smooth peanut butter and sweet chilli sauce.
In fact the huge portion disappeared all too quickly.
To wash this down I opted for a large portion of fresh orange, apple and strawberry juice (£2).
Tasting like the fruit had just been picked from their back garden, the blend of flavours provided a refreshing combination.
My vegetarian salad (£3) had a wide selection of salad including roasted veg. However it was a little bland, and the ranch dressing tasted more like salad cream.
Although I shouldn’t have, I couldn’t resist a blueberry and custard muffin (£1.50) which was moist and was filled with delicious creamy custard and blueberries.
