POLICE were questioning a 29-year-old man today after two men were found stabbed to death in a London flat.

London police and paramedics found the victims at a property in West Norwood, south London.

Officers arrested a man who remains in custody at a south London police station.

Neighbours at Summersell House, Bentons Rise, said one of the dead men was unemployed Italian Luciano Schiano, known as Gianno.

He and a second man, believed to be a friend who sometimes stayed at the property, were found with multiple stab wounds on Tuesday night at about 10pm.

Forensic analysis of the scene in south London led murder squad detectives to launch a full inquiry as they hunted for the killer.
