Graffiti vandals target cars and home

Spray-paint attacks in Stonehaven

Published:

SIX cars and a house have been spray-painted with silver and red graffiti in a series of vandal attacks in Aberdeenshire.

Four cars parked on Stonehaven’s Brickfield Road were sprayed with silver paint, causing damage worth around £1,000.

A house nearby in Stonehaven’s Evan Street was also spray-painted with silver graffiti.

Two more cars – one parked on Stonehaven’s New Street and another on Victoria Street – were sprayed with red paint, causing about £700 of damage.

A Grampian Police spokesman said officers were linking the crimes, which all took place in Stonehaven between Sunday and Monday.

The Grampian Police spokesman added: “These are selfish acts of vandalism.

“We would urge anyone with information on this vandalism to come forward and contact us.”
